Foundation Builders 2 Class: There will be a parenting class at the church office on Saturday, April 30 at the church office from 9:30-11:30 a.m. The class is led by Pastor Kevin and designed to impart a biblical view of parenting by addressing the areas of developing a family mission, formative discipline, corrective discipline, family worship, age appropriate Bible skills, and the GCF Memory program. Please R.S.V.P. to Pastor Kevin by Wednesday, April 27.

Quarterly Meeting, Sunday, May 1: The next quarterly meeting for GCF will be on Sunday, May 1 after the worship service at Handke.

Agape Meal Next Week: We will be enjoying an Agape Meal after the worship service next Sunday. Please see the back side of this sheet for more information.

Student Ministries: Students grade 6-12 are invited to attend Wednesday nights for Bible study, discussion, and activities. Handke, 6:30-8:45 p.m. Contact Pastor Kevin.

Pivot Meeting: The college age (and beyond) ministry meets on alternating Thursday evenings. 7:00 p.m. at Josiah Lee's house. The next meeting is on April 28.

Church Membership Class: Pastor Charlie is currently leading a Sunday School class during the second hour in room 110 on Church Membership.

Wednesday Morning Prayer Meeting: Anyone who would like to join in corporate prayer may do so. The prayer time is 6:00 a.m. to 7:00 a.m. at the church office.

Our sun is a fitting metaphor for the glory of God. In the context of our solar system, it is massive, bright, beautiful, powerful, self-sufficient, heat-producing, life-giving, and dangerous. Update on Sarah Fergus

Here is an update that we just sent to our church regarding Sarah Fergus who is heading off soon to serve the Lord in Madagascar. If you're interested in helping Sarah, please write me a note and I'll be glad to pass it on to her. One way or the other, please join us in prayer! Dear Glory of Christ Fellowship, Thank you for all your prayers in the last few weeks. I have been very encouraged by many of you on Sunday mornings and after visiting several community groups. This church really is a blessing to me as I am being constantly reminded that I am not alone in this. One huge praise is that in the last week I was pledged about half of what I still needed for monthly support! Reminder of dates: Dec 13th is when I need financial clearance. Jan 8th is my planned departure date.
