CAER March Food Drive: Help CAER fight hunger by donating food to help local families in need. We will be collecting food for the drive through Sunday, March 18. You can either bring your items with you to church to drop them off, or drop them off at Jake and Tayla Bonin’s home at your convenience. Questions? Talk with Tayla, 215-380-8743.

Church Directory Update: We would like to update the church directory. Do you have an updated family photo or any new contact information? Send updates to Melissa Johnson at mmjohnson512@gmail.com. Submission deadline is March 18. 

Getting to the Heart of Your Child—Parenting Class Saturday March 17: We may know that “life flows from the heart” (Proverbs 4:23). The next questions for our consideration is how parents can connect with their child at a heart level for effective discipleship. We will explore biblical teachings on the home that will help you make life-giving connections with your child. We’ll meet at the church office from 9:30 to 11:30 a.m. RSVP with Pastor Kevin by Thursday, March 15. Childcare will be available. 

Good Friday and Easter Sunday Services: Our Good Friday service will be March 30 at 6:00 p.m. Easter morning service on April 1 will be at 9:00 a.m. We will not have an Agape Meal in April.

Women's Retreat Coming Soon! Brochures are available on the information table. We look forward to getting away together April 27-28/29. This year's speaker is Lisa Howse and her mother Jan Goris. The theme is Hope in God (1 Peter 1:18, 21). See Susan Fergus, Claire Belknap or Shelley Herzog if you have questions.

Reflective Glory: How the Moon Displays the Mercy of God

Our sun is a fitting metaphor for the glory of God. In the context of our solar system, it is massive, bright, beautiful, powerful, self-sufficient, heat-producing, life-giving, and dangerous. It is, by far, the dominant feature of our solar system and without it the system would fling apart and all living things therein would die.  On the other hand, our moon is a fitting metaphor for human beings, especially for those who believe in Jesus Christ. First, compared to the sun, the moon is tiny and dim. The sun is 400 times larger than the moon, its mass is 27 million times greater than the mass of the moon, and from our perspective its light shines 450,000 times brighter than that of the moon. The sun is so much greater than the moon that it’s difficult to quantify and express the difference.
