Catholics and Evangelicals: What's the Difference?
Adult Sunday School – Gymnasium
This twelve-session course is designed to help Catholics and Evangelicals engage in meaningful and respectful conversation that they might grow in their understanding of the Bible and their love for Jesus. The course is taught by Pastor Charlie. Gymnasium

What Is Gospel Community? A Path to Covenant Membership
Adult Sunday School – Room 107
This eight session course explores and celebrates the relationship between the gospel, gospel community, covenant membership in the local church, and the mission of the church in the world. While it does not obligate one to become a member of Glory of Christ, it must be completed before one can be a member. The course is taught by Dave Fergus.

Grasping God’s Word: A Hand’s-On Approach to Reading, Interpreting and Applying the Bible
High School and College – Room 111
This course is designed to help students gain skill in Bible reading. Participants in the class will learn how to make observations in Scripture so that they will get more out of their own Bible reading. Students in the course will be challenged to observe and discuss various passages in class.  This course will be taught by Pastor Kevin

Your Word Is Truth: A Study for Youth on Seeing all of Life Through the Truth of Scripture
Junior High Students – Room 110
The goal of this study is that, through the work of the Holy Spirit, the authoritative Truth of the Bible might be understood and embraced so students may see and interpret all of life through the Truth of Scripture. This course will be taught by Ethan Larson

The Promised One (The Gospel Project for Kids)
Grades 1 – 4 Room 209
This unit titled “The Promised One” is the closing of the Old Testament, leading to the arrival of Jesus. The Gospel Project For Kids curriculum is designed to show children that all of Scripture is a unified story which all points to Jesus. This class will be taught by Carmen Gunderson and we would like to recruit at least one more helper for the class.

For me there is something magical about the beach, especially on the Atlantic side with the waves washing up against the shoreline. We have been lucky enough to find a sleepy beach town to vacation at. A nook, if you will, that typically features retired folks or families with kids. Out of the way of those who want to party, the beach is truly a relaxing place for me.  Let me tell you something that I gleaned this time around that never quite landed on me. No one ever plans to have their lives upended. We know that the world is broken and bound in futility, we know that everything can change in an instant, and yet crises still have the ability to shake us to our core. None of us entered 2020 planning to experience a global pandemic this year, but here we are, practicing social distancing, wondering how the virus will affect us and our families, and wondering when we will be able to return to our regular rhythms and routines as what can feel a little like the world falling apart around us.  In the midst of social distancing, I miss my church family. I miss my Bible study, the kids in my Sunday school class, the ability to meet people for coffee, and I know that I am not alone in this. It is not wrong to grieve the temporary loss of these things.
