Catholics and Evangelicals: What's the Difference?
Adult Sunday School – Gymnasium
This twelve-session course is designed to help Catholics and Evangelicals engage in meaningful and respectful conversation that they might grow in their understanding of the Bible and their love for Jesus. The course is taught by Pastor Charlie. Gymnasium

What Is Gospel Community? A Path to Covenant Membership
Adult Sunday School – Room 107
This eight session course explores and celebrates the relationship between the gospel, gospel community, covenant membership in the local church, and the mission of the church in the world. While it does not obligate one to become a member of Glory of Christ, it must be completed before one can be a member. The course is taught by Dave Fergus.

Grasping God’s Word: A Hand’s-On Approach to Reading, Interpreting and Applying the Bible
High School and College – Room 111
This course is designed to help students gain skill in Bible reading. Participants in the class will learn how to make observations in Scripture so that they will get more out of their own Bible reading. Students in the course will be challenged to observe and discuss various passages in class.  This course will be taught by Pastor Kevin

Your Word Is Truth: A Study for Youth on Seeing all of Life Through the Truth of Scripture
Junior High Students – Room 110
The goal of this study is that, through the work of the Holy Spirit, the authoritative Truth of the Bible might be understood and embraced so students may see and interpret all of life through the Truth of Scripture. This course will be taught by Ethan Larson

The Promised One (The Gospel Project for Kids)
Grades 1 – 4 Room 209
This unit titled “The Promised One” is the closing of the Old Testament, leading to the arrival of Jesus. The Gospel Project For Kids curriculum is designed to show children that all of Scripture is a unified story which all points to Jesus. This class will be taught by Carmen Gunderson and we would like to recruit at least one more helper for the class.

This Sunday we resume our study of the book of Revelation and within the first eight verses of chapter 6 we will encounter the wrath of God being poured out upon the world. In one sense, being confronted with the reality of God’s wrath is uncomfortable at best, but in another sense, it fills the believing heart with joy.  One of the first essays I wrote in college was on the wrath and love of God, and probably the main effect it has had on my life is to cause joy to rise up in my heart whenever I contemplate God’s wrath. Sometime ago I shared this with a pastor friend of mine and though he said nothing in response, he looked at me as if to say, “If you knew anything about the wrath of God, you would not rejoice in it.” At the time, I wasn't sure how to respond, but I knew that the joy in my heart was not stemming from a belittling of the horror of the wrath of God.
