Announcements – July 3, 2016
Raspberry Ridge Outreach Opportunity: Students will have the opportunity to serve at Raspberry Ridge Apartment complex in Hopkins by doing a soccer and learning camp. David and Carmen Gunderson, two of our own missionaries, are currently serving the Somali population at Raspberry Ridge and we have the opportunity to support their work. Activities include organizing soccer games and drills for the children, playing math/learning games with them, doing skits and reading books to them. We need to raise $150 for supplies. Please consider supporting this ministry prayerfully and financially. More details will be available next week.
Women’s Ministry and Children’s Fellowship: Women of GCF are invited to attend a fellowship opportunity on Tuesday morning, July 5, at Elysia Larson’s home from 9:30-11:30 a.m. This is a great opportunity to spend time with the ladies of GCF from all stages and seasons of life. There are plenty of activities for children, too!Pastor Kevin on Vacation: Pastor Kevin will be on vacation from June 27 through July 11. All relevant emails and messages left for him will be responded to after he returns.
Pivot Meeting: The college age (and beyond) ministry meets on alternating Thursday evenings. 7:00 p.m. at Josiah Lee's house. The next meeting is on Thursday, July 7.
Wednesday Morning Prayer Meeting: Anyone who would like to join in corporate prayer may do so. The prayer time is 6:00 a.m. to 7:00 a.m. at the church office.
Next Week’s Fighter Verse:
“For we do not wrestle against flesh and blood, but
against the rulers, against the authorities, against the cosmic powers over
this present darkness, against the spiritual forces of evil in the heavenly
places. Therefore take up the whole armor of God, that you may be able to
withstand in the evil day, and having done all, to stand firm” (Ephesians
6:12-13).
