Announcements - June 28, 2015

Picnic Today, June 28 : Everyone is invited to the picnic today following the worship service at the Ryks home in Saint Michael. See the back-side of this sheet for more details. Thursday Morning Prayer Meeting : Please join us for an hour of prayer on Thursday mornings from 6:00-7:00 a.m. at the church office. Women should bring at least one other person with them so that we can honor the Lord by maintaining appropriate boundaries. If you are unable to stop by the church office, feel free to join in wherever you are. Student Ministries Summer Gathering : The next student ministries summer gathering (grades 6-12) is on Wednesday, July 8. 100 Ways to Engage Your Neighborhood: Part 10

Several years ago, Josh Reeves, Pastor of Redeemer Church in Round Rock, Texas, developed a resource entitled, “100 Practical Ways to Engage your Neighborhood.” The idea behind this resource is to help Christians add gospel intentionality to everyday life, to help lovers of Christ live as missionaries in their own neighborhoods.  Several weeks ago I began the process of posting these ideas 10 at a time. Not every idea will work for everyone, but please pray over each list and ask the Lord to help you identify one thing you can do each week. And if none of the ideas on a given section of the list works for you, then let it inspire you to think of something else. Announcements – June 7, 2015 Nursery Volunteer Training Meeting: All Nursery volunteers are asked to report to room 112 ten minutes after the conclusion of the worship service for a brief,15 minute training.
